||John BrownCommencing in the franchise sector as a Franchisee in 1981, John has since had the opportunity to participate as a Franchisee, a Multi-unit Franchisee, a Master Franchisee and as a Franchisor. Practicing as a strategic advisor since 1990 John has also been a key contributor to the efforts of the FCA in WA, SA and at national Board level twice as a Director of the FCA. John was awarded the Paddy Thompson Contribution to Franchising Award in 2001 and was inducted into the Franchising Hall of Fame in 2010.
||Tim HantkeEarly in his career Tim spent over 23 years with the CSR Group, followed by a short time with Universal Waldeck Group. Tim joined the Snap Printing Group in 1998 as CEO and Director. Over the ensuing 13 years, he led the group to over 140 franchised printing centres in four countries and on to win Franchisor of the Year four times. During this period he was also on the board of the FCA for seven years and was invited by the Federal Government to become a member of their Franchising Policy Council.
||Steve HansenA successful franchisee of Chicken World / Big Rooster between 1983 and 1991, Steve built up five profitable stores and left the group to form his own franchise company, River Rooster, which was rebadged in 2003 as CHOOKS fresh & tasty.
Steve recently sold the CHOOKS network after reaching an impressive 39 stores and is now a partner and management consultant with Think Big Management Consultancy. The 2007 winner of the Paddy Thompson Contribution to Franchising Award, Steve also held office as the FCA WA State President from 2003-2008 and has been a committee member since 1996.
Having spent 12 years at Canon in Europe before starting his own internet business, Mike is now Franchisor of Car Care, Housework Heroes and United Home Services, with the three systems consisting of more than 250 franchisees.
Mike is currently the WA FCA State President.
