BDA at the Jim’s Building Inspections’ Franchise ConferenceAugust 19, 2014
BDA’s own Director, Mark Fernandez was a keynote speaker and facilitator at the inaugural Jim’s Building Inspections’ franchise conference, ‘Building Our Brand’. The conference, which spanned from 14th-16th August and aimed to give stakeholders an opportunity to re-engage with the Jim’s brand, with a major focus on building brand awareness both locally and nationally; was held at the Crown Metropol Melbourne and featured the Jim’s Group’s 25th Silver Anniversary Gala Dinner and exciting group activities such as attending a Carlton vs. Geelong AFL match at the Medallion Club at Etihad Stadium.
Of the conference, Mark remarked: “it’s great to see franchise systems continuing to search for excellence”
Mark, who has previously worked with the Jim’s Building Inspections Group within Western Australia; addressed over 10 Franchisors of the Jim’s group on of ‘Excellence in Franchising’ and what it takes to become a successful Franchisor in this modern era. Mark then facilitated an interactive workshop based on the Franchise Annual Reviews.
Divisional Manager Suzanne Commerford was delighted with the workshop saying: “Thank you Mark, the franchisors were really positive about your session and your ‘engagement’ with the team, like me I think they really benefited from that external shot of energy you always bring to the table.”
